Sunandha University's Udon Thani
Education Center students into
"Social Engineers" who create
sustainable local innovations to solve

On May 27th, 2026, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, through its Research and Development Institute, organized the second training program, "Developing Skills in Creating Local Innovations for Solving Community Problems using the Social Engineering Concept," at the Chor Thong Kwao Meeting Room, Udon Thani Education Center, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.
The morning
session reviewed social engineering
knowledge and skills, with Assistant
Professor Dr. Panuwat Siwasakulraj as
the speaker, who shared concepts of
creative community
development.
The
afternoon session involved group
practical exercises to analyze community
needs and problems in order to find
solutions and create local innovations
using social engineering tools. This was
facilitated by Assistant Professor Dr.
Panuwat Sivaskunraj, Ajarn Amornrat
Muenjitnoy, Mr. Montri Srithamma
(Village headman Moo. 8, Samphrao
Subdistrict, Mueang District, Udon Thani
Province), and Ajarn Atittiya Buasri
(Deputy Director of the Research and
Development Institute), who participated
as speakers and provided guidance
throughout the activity.
The project
aims to encourage students and
participants to apply the social
engineering process to analyze, plan,
and develop innovations that concretely
solve community problems, thereby
integrating knowledge for local
development.
