The training Project to Develop Skills and Enhance the Basic Economy of the Cultural Tourism Community with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Udon Thani Province, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), under the project for improving quality of life and uplifting the grassroots economy by Rajabhat University for local development, funded by the national budget for the fiscal year 2025.

     June 27, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Prof. Dr. Pattaravis Yuwattana, Director of Udon Thani Provincial Education Center,  Assigned Teerarat Amnartcharoen, Lecturer in Tourism and Hospitality Industry Management  to the Academic Service Area under the Strategic Committee of Rajabhat University for Local Development for the Fiscal Year 2025 "Project to Develop Skills and Enhance the Basic Economy of the Cultural Tourism Community with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Udon Thani Province Project: Skill Development and Economic Empowerment of Local Communities in Cultural Tourism Towards Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Udon Thani Province

Under the Activity: Strengthening Community Enterprises through Sustainable Standards and Markets

Location: Community Enterprise for Conservation-Based Tourism at Saphan Hin, Tha Li Subdistrict, Kumphawapi District, Udon Thani Province

The project involved local residents of Tha Li Subdistrict and students who participated with great interest in developing sustainable community products. Through knowledge transfer and product innovation development, the community created mango leather and that have an extended shelf life and higher market value. These innovations help generate income and strengthen community enterprises.

This project aligns with the following SDGs:

➡️ Goal 1: No Poverty – Utilizing local raw materials to produce higher-value products helps generate income for the community and strengthen the local economy.

➡️ Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities – Promoting equal economic opportunities allows people in small communities to access new markets, both domestically and internationally.
