SSRUUD Drives Integrated Tourism to Elevate Handwoven Fabrics and Local Products in Nong Bua Lamphu

✨✨ Asst. Prof. Dr. Pattaravit Yoowattana, Director of Udon Thani Education Center, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, along with faculty members, organized a project to promote tourism and enhance the capacity of personnel in integrated and sustainable tourism.

???????????? The main activities included the Handwoven Fabric Fair, Textile Fashion, and Local Products “Sabai Dee” to the Global Stage ✨✨

The opening ceremony was held on Tuesday, 19 August 2025, at 09:30 AM, at Nattapong Grand Hotel, Mueang District, Nong Bua Lamphu Province. The event was honored by Mr. Surasak Aksornkul, Governor of Nong Bua Lamphu, who presided over the ceremony.

The project aims to develop the skills and knowledge of tourism personnel and entrepreneurs to create modern and sustainable integrated tourism. It also supports the preservation, continuation, and enhancement of local wisdom, especially in handwoven fabrics, textile fashion, and local products, ensuring quality and international standards. This effort contributes to stimulating the local economy and adding value to the community and Nong Bua Lamphu Province.

The project received collaborative support from multiple sectors, including government agencies, the private sector, community networks, producers, entrepreneurs, and the public, forming a crucial force in driving sustainable tourism development in the province.
