SSRU Udon Thani organizes Volunteer Development Camp “Bringing Smiles, Creating Educational Opportunities”: Fostering Volunteer Spirit for the Community
Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Udon Thani Education Center, organized the volunteer development camp project “Bringing Smiles, Creating Educational Opportunities” from June 6-7th, 2026, at Ban Mueang Prachabamrung School, Nong Han District, Udon Thani Province. Led by Assistant Professor Dr. Pattaravis Yoowattana, Director of Udon Thani Education Center, and accompanied by lecturers, staff, and students, the project aimed to develop the school and community.
The project
aimed to improve the school environment,
promote learning resources, and inspire
education for students and youth in the
area, focusing on enhancing the learning
atmosphere to foster the holistic
development of learners'
potential.
In addition,
it instilled a sense of volunteerism,
social responsibility, and the qualities
of a “social engineer” in
students through hands-on experience,
teamwork, and community involvement,
creating valuable learning experiences
outside the classroom.
This
activity reflects the role of Suan
Sunandha Rajabhat University, Udon Thani
Education Center, in bringing knowledge
to local development and creating
educational opportunities. It jointly
drives community development, which is
one of the university's missions for
society and the local community. This
activity is aligned with the United
Nations Sustainable Development Goals
(SDGs) as follows:
