On Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025, Dr. Waleerat Saengchai, lecturer in the Department of Political Science, Surapong Intarapak, Napassawan Kumklong, lecturers in the Department of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and Thanadol Armartpon, lecturer in the Department of Tourism Industry and Hospitality Management, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Udon Thani Education Center, presented a local and social service project titled "Applying the LEARN Model for joyful Learning in School Botanical Gardens: A Royal-Initiative Framework for Cultivating Youth Responsibility in Plant Protection and Conservation in Udon Thani Province," at the 8th Rajabhat Research National and International Conference at Pibulsongkram Rajabhat University (Talay Kaew Campus), Phitsanulok Province.
These articles are part of an academic service project. Under the Plant Genetic Conservation Project initiated by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (P.S.P.), with Professor Dr. Winai Pralampakarn and Professor Dr. Anat Tancho providing expert advice,
this project aligns with the main SDG goal under SDG4: Quality Education for Sustainable Development. This activity transfers knowledge about natural resources and environmental conservation to P.S.P. member schools, raising awareness among children and youth.
Furthermore, it aligns with the main SDG goal under SDG 17: Partnership for Development, fostering domestic collaboration among the public, private, civil society, and local governments. This includes academic cooperation with the Nadi Subdistrict Administrative Organization in Udon Thani Province, a local administrative organization in P.S.P. member areas, leading to collaborative academic collaboration.
However, this project's activities remain elusive. Some activities align with the SDG sub-goals:
SDG11: Sustainable Cities and Communities
SDG15: Terrestrial Ecosystems
SDG16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions
This includes activities that promote sustainable urban and community governance, conserve the biodiversity of native flora in Udon Thani Province, and develop a strong, inclusive university that will be a beacon for society.
