SSRUUdonTourism Field Trip: Learning at Udon Thani City Museum

Students from the Tourism and Hospitality Industry Management Program, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Udon Thani Education Center, participated in a field study trip at the Udon Thani City Museum as part of the courses Cultural and Community-Based Tourism Management and Ecotourism and Adventure Tourism.

This educational activity was supported by distinguished alumni and senior students in the tourism profession, including P’ Som-O (#TiHM57), along with internship students P’ Aom and P’ Aem (#TiHM65). They provided guidance, shared professional experiences, and led students through the museum exhibitions, offering valuable insights into real-world practices in the tourism industry.

The field trip was supervised by Mr. Ekachai Sithamma, course instructor, who provided academic guidance and enriched students’ learning throughout the activity. The experience enabled students to connect classroom theories with practical applications through direct engagement with cultural heritage resources and tourism attractions.

This field study represents an important learning opportunity that broadens students’ perspectives on cultural tourism, heritage conservation, and sustainable tourism development.
